Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act or Elektro Gesetz (Germany)
These regulations are the national transfer of European law WEEE into national law.
The requirements for Europe are different, but similar to those in German law. For a start we only provide service for Germany but the service for the rest of Europe will follow soon.
The law:
Every electronic good which will be sold in Germany has to be registered by the producer. For import goods the importer is in fact the producer and has to be registered at EAR.
The brand which is used for sale has to be registered before you import the goods. The producer has to pay for the costs of the future recycling and has to provide a special guarantee from the bank or another accepted insurance company.
This is a very complicated act and obstructs quick orders.
If the producer (importer) fails to register, he has to face a penalty of up to 50,000 Euros!
With us you can offer your (German) customers to import without a registeration by themselves.
Our company already is registered and we offer you and your customers to sell your goods by using our registered brand.
You only have to provide us with the full information of the goods the customer wants to buy and with the complete adress of the customer.
We will get in contact with him and tell him upfront how much he has to pay for the order..
After closing the contract you inform us via copy of the contract. Then we bill him for the charge and send you release for the goods on receipt of payment.

Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)
These regulations are put in place to get knowledge about the contents of all goods which are produced in Europe or are imported to Europe to avoid influence on the health of the people or the environment. Any parts which contents are toxic or poisonous are not allowed to be imported.
Right now it is not prohibited to import goods to Europe, but the producer has to know about the contents and quantity of all goods to fulfill the regulations by registering these contents if the amount of sale is greater than a preassigned amount per year.
If this registration is necessary or not, can only be observed if the producer/importer knows about the content. In fact this means that every good has to be checked at a laboratory for its contents and these parts must remain unchanged during further production. Otherwise the product has to be tested again with the new contents.
How does this effect your sale?
This test takes several weeks and costs between 300 USD and 1,500 USD or more.
The observing of the good's whole contents which have been imported to Europe has to be done from the importer, but he only can fulfill the requirements if he always has the information about the contents.
For normal orders it is impossible to be tested before placing the order because of the time frame. So only you as the producer can make sure that the content is not changed during the production progress/ or the time you have the product in your catalogue.
We have a contract with a big company which does the testing for you and you will benefit from our special rates.
